1979 Jeep Cherokee Chief
This 1979 beauty was initially built for the SEMA show of 2018. This Jeep has been covered by multiple Jeep-media all over the world and is knows to be the finest of all Chiefs.
Complete restoration down to the last bolt and nut… nothing was left untouched. 315 horsepower 5.9L V8 with mass-air induction multiport fuel injection. Dyno’d before merge to frame. 100 percent new wiring from front to back. A bunch of new old stock parts were sourced and installed on this Jeep. The interior is the sporty Levi’s fabric matched with fine italian leather front to back. Seats, dash, pannels, steering wheel, … everything got the same level of attention.
Altough the pictures were taken before the Cherokee Chief indian heads were installed, the vehicle now carries these badges with pride and honor and will be cruising on the german autobahn in a few weeks.
The new owner can enjoy Bluetooth over the stock Jeep radio. The Jeep comes with DSP, amplifier and subtle under the seat subwoofer.
Full stainless steel from front to back. Hydroboost with four disc brakes. This Jeep stops and drives like a modern vehicle, yet keeps that fantastic 70’s look.
The Jeep was sold a couple of hours after we published the SEMA pictures. We will be building more, so stay tuned.
